Roll That Stone Away

Deep within my tomb
Of depression, lack and gloom,
The stronghold of darkness prevailed.
Entwined with a shroud
Of sickness, fear and doubt,
I heard a voice calling to me.
It said, "Roll that stone away!
There's life here today,
Take a step of faith into the Light.
Roll that stone away!
In Me you'll find The Way,
To leave your grave clothes behind."

Could it be me,
This man from Gallilee,
Was speaking to, deep within that tomb?
Could there be life
On the other side
Just waiting for me to come out?
So I said, "Roll that stone away!
There's life here today,
I'm taking a step of faith into the Light!
Roll that stone away!
I've just found The Way,
I'm leaving these grave clothes behind."

In case I wasn't heard,
I declared again those words,
"Roll that stone away!
You better hear what I say,
I'm not staying here one more day.
Roll that stone away!
You better hear and obey,
'Cause I'm coming forth in Resurrection Pow'r!"
